COVID-19 Getting Us Back Into Crafting

 

It has been great to connect with friends during self isolation and learn about all the fantastic craft projects you have been undertaking. I do wonder if craft sales have increased due to COVID-19 as we all seem to be doing something!

We have always known that any form of craft, chatter, tinkering around in a shed, and cups of tea have been good for the soul - but amazingly it has also bought stories of joy with many of you reporting that you have finished off some UFOs (unfinished objects).
My friend Juliette has been posting her ‘cocktail of the day’, and my friend Khiem has been posting gorgeous photos of food he is has been cooking. It seems we have all found ways to be creative, or enjoy others being creative.
My work life has continued to be super busy (for the moment), and I have enjoyed not having to commute to the studio and back. The weekends have seen me gardening on our back deck, working on some mosaic flowers, and lots of beading.
