Our Community Project

Some of us are working on a community project together.  We knit squares for a mission called ‘Wrap With Love'. So bring along your knitting needles size No 8 (4mm needles, 8ply yarn) instructions available when you arrive. We knit squares to make blankets for the millions of people in the world suffering extreme cold. ‘Wrap with Love’ began in 1992 with the idea to help as many people as possible by providing warm Wraps to ward off hypothermia. In the past 18 years they have sent more than 221,700 Wraps to people in over 75 countries, including Australia, with the help of hardworking and generous volunteers.

We meet on the 1^st Saturday of each month (February - December) at 1.30pm.
